FACES displays the power, wealth and diversity of a black-and-white portrait. Each portrait reveals the identity and soul of that person, transcending the superficial. With this exhibition, artist Undrell Maholmes purpose is to celebrate the portrait genre, as well as cause the spectator to recognize the story that each person’s face tells. Facial features speak the story of a person’s origin, culture, orientation and more. Like fingerprints, we are all unique and no two faces are the same.
